Corrections Policy

Our Correction policy

We understand that despite the application of due diligence procedures, mistakes can occur in journalism. We are committed to acknowledging and rectifying any errors promptly and transparently. Our fact-checking process ensures that corrections are made with accuracy and clarity. The following guidelines outline our approach to corrections and updates:

1. Timely Corrections:
When errors are brought to our attention, we act swiftly to correct them. If the correction is straightforward, we mark the correction within 24 hours of being notified.

2. Complex Corrections:
In cases where further investigation or reaching out to individuals for their reactions is required, the correction process may take up to 72 hours. We prioritize accuracy and thoroughness in addressing complex corrections.

3. Welcoming Feedback:
We value feedback from our readers and encourage them to share their thoughts and concerns. Comments can be posted in the designated comments section at the end of each article, video, or post. Additionally, requests for corrections or updates can be sent to Mr Vince Mathew is founder and Managing Director and Chief Editor (WhatsApp  +61415752113 )

4. Transparency in Corrections:
For major corrections or substantive changes that modify the rating of a news story, we prominently mark them as “Correction” at the top of the article. We provide a clear explanation of the change, including the reason behind it. This ensures transparency and provides a comprehensive correction history.

5. Updates:
If new facts come to light after a story is published, adding substantial new layers or angles without altering the rating, we mark them as “Update” at the end of the article. This indicates the addition of relevant information to the original report.

6. Minor Changes:
Typographical errors, misspellings, grammatical errors, or minor changes that are not considered significant by our editors may not be explicitly noted as corrections.

At Karma News, we believe in accountability and strive to maintain the highest editorial standards. Our commitment to transparent and accurate reporting is reflected in our prompt corrections and updates. We appreciate the vigilance of our readers and value their contributions in ensuring the accuracy of our news content.
